MATHS: Lesson 4.6 Reading & Interpreting Circle Graphs, pg 158 & 159, #1, 4, and 6.  Due Thursday.  When sketching a circle graph, trace a round object and use a ruler to divide it into sectors.

FIELD TRIP: Looking forward to a fun day with you in one of our beautiful BC forests!

We go to the UBC TreeWalk and the Botanical Garden tomorrow.  Wear good walking shoes (no open toes), wear a jacket (it’s still quite cool in the morning), pack a snack, water bottle and a bag lunch in a small backpack. We plan to eat lunch in the beautiful outdoors at UBC.

MATHS: review how to find the area of a circle and the relationship between diameter, ratio and area. We will have a “Show What You Know” question tomorrow.
